The event, which is on 21 May 2017, is set in the spectacular and historic setting of Stirlingshire. Starting out with an undulating first five miles, the remainder of the course is set to be fast and suitable for all abilities and will provide an awe-inspiring experience for accomplished and first-time marathoners alike.

Starting west of the city at Blair Drummond Safari Park, the route will wind through the stunning Stirlingshire countryside and pass landmarks including Doune Castle, the National Wallace Monument and Bridge of Allan before enjoying a fantastic circuit of support in the City Centre and finally finishing beneath the imposing ramparts of Stirling Castle.

As a supporter undertaking this event in aid of Prostate Scotland you will receive:

Pre- race information about how to get sponsorship and fundraise and how to make it easy, safe and fun!

Training tips and information from those who have previously run, including from an international marathon coach

  • Specially designed Prostate Scotland T or running shirts or vest for those who want to wear them on race day (and indeed before!)
  • A Prostate Scotland water bottle which we automatically send out to registered runners
  • Post- race a Prostate Scotland Certificate of Appreciation

I also hereby give Prostate Scotland my permission to use my name and photographic likeness for promotional purposes for the charity. If I am cycling in aid of Prostate Scotland I understand that Prostate Scotland expects me to wear a helmet for my own health and safety.
